Elizabeth Verwey guides
people in business to become more effective in their space and time
management so that they can take time to play - and most importantly
- balance the two.
Things can change quickly in
a small office, and it's difficult to find the focused time to
research what's available. We will review the possibilities and
inform you of your best options. A written report can follow our
meeting. You may administer the plan yourself, or we can help.
President, Home
Office Mentors
Elizabeth Verwey is a
seasoned entrepreneur who helps small business owners manage their
space and time more effectively so they can enjoy both life and work.
Since establishing Home Office Mentors in 1997, she has helped
hundreds of clients in the Greater Toronto Area to gain perspective
on their challenges and priorities, and take concrete action to
improve how they organize and operate their businesses day to day.
So many of her clients grew
into small offices that Elizabeth now works with many teams in small
office settings - to suggest meaningful change.
Corporations have their
executive teams, boards of directors, consultants and staff.
Entrepreneurs too often have only one person to turn to: themselves.
As market cycles continue to compress and accelerate, the challenges
can become overwhelming.
Elizabeth steps in to change
that situation. She has a mountain of ideas to share from her work
with entrepreneurs in diverse industries, plus 20 years' experience
in facilitating groups, and a proven record of innovative solutions.
Through one-on-one consultations, monthly support groups, workshops
and seminars, she helps people clarify their priorities, identify
quick wins, map out action steps, and follow through on their plans.
In addition, she offers
specialized services: facilitating office moves, brainstorming
solutions, and showing business owners how to recharge their
batteries without losing any momentum. Her tape, The Joy of
Micro-Vacations, is a quick win for any user.
This warm and dynamic
presenter has hands-on experience in retail management, education,
charities and juggling work and family. She has completed the
Personnel and Industrial Relations Program at University of Toronto
and the Life Skills Coaches Training Certificate at the YWCA.
She is a professional member of the Canadian Association of
Professional Speakers, and is a member of the SOHO Advisory Committee
for Enterprise Toronto.
